Location(s): Based from Leeds with Nationwide travel. Job description: This is an exciting new position within the security department of one of the UK’s biggest retailers. You will be project managing the implementation of security equipment in all new store builds, refurbishments, and in stores where equipment needs upgrading. Liasing with both store managers and contractors you will oversee the roll out of the of CCTV, Intruder alarms, EAS systems and other equipment ensuring that they are installed correctly and timely to the set specifications. You will also then support the stores on best practices to ensure that the optimum usage is gained from the systems implemented, this may include carrying out in store audits on how and when the equipment is being used and providing coaching for the end users in stores. Candidate profile: The ideal candidate will come from within the security industry preferably with experience within the retail market. You must have project management experience and therefore be used to delivering results to set deadlines and timeframes. Ideally you will currently be in a similar role and will have a good understanding of how retail security systems operate and how to ensure maximum usage and benefit from them for the end user. Working Monday to Friday, You will be based from the head office in South Yorkshire but will be required to travel nationwide (including England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) to locations when required.
