Our client, the foremost retail loss prevention authority in the UK, with a host of blue chip retail clients seeks a Loss Prevention Business Development Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop the business using previous experience in the retail loss prevention industry. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following: To support a retail loss prevention consultancy and IT business in IT based product demonstrations, delivery, sales and pre-sales process by bringing operational expertise to the process. Act as an implementation specialist for the pilot and rollout projects in assigned accounts including training delivery to store, area and loss prevention managers. Operational set up to maximise the project success and projected ROI to the customer. Identify and support product development opportunities and work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure clarity of such. Undertake support activities to the loss prevention business lead when required. Identify and deliver additional loss prevention consultancy opportunities working closely with the business lead and account management teams. Must be able to establish credibility with customers and company employees at all levels, including the board, and must understand the wider operational retail business, not just loss prevention.

| Candidate profile: |
The client is looking for a self starter and customer focused individual who will support its clients during the sales and implementation process. They must have a well rounded and solid knowledge of retail operations and shrinkage. They are likely to come from a store background - with retail loss prevention management experience. In order to actively support the loss prevention products sales and pre-sales process, the post holder will need: Detailed knowledge of loss prevention and shrink management in a retail business environment, specifically but not exclusively. Understand loss at point of sale including theft and fraud methodology. Thorough understanding of retail operational processes at store level. Be computer literate and self sufficient. Willing and able to spend time travelling in the UK and occasionally overseas.
