To promote the sale of the Company’s Lighting products, systems and services to the agreed end user customer accounts, which will secure the financial Sales target set and agreed on an annual basis.
THIS IS A SOLUTIONS SALES ROLE AT MAJOR PROJECTS LEVEL, NO LIGHTING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED BUT CANDIDATES MUST CURRENTLY BE WORKING IN A MAJOR ACCOUNTS ROLE AT END USER LEVEL ON HIGH VALUE PROJECTS !!,
(A) Selling Skills
1.Develop “Lighting Solutions” concept with all Key Accounts to secure specifications.
2.To produce a detailed annual Business Plan in line with key account management principles.
3.To ensure accounts profile is capable of providing the sales that are required to secure the agreed targets and also in product mix and profit.
4.Strive to develop all accounts to a level that our client provides the majority of their lighting needs.
5.Continually review suitability of each account and delete/add where deemed appropriate in conjunction with performance reviews held with Regional Sales Manager.
6.Develop a sales plan for each account annually and review on a quarterly basis with Regional Sales Manager.
7.Where appropriate, provide commercial seminars at customer premises or at our client’s offices. More technical seminars are to be organised with the appropriate internal experts where necessary to all key accounts.
8.To raise the profile of our clients Lighting by attending social functions also attended by the account base, in accordance with Regional Sales Manager direction.
9.Carry out from time to time additional duties as required by the Company’s management.
10To liaise with other internal selling departments.
11 To be an active and positive contributor to the Regional Sales Meetings and other company meetings at which he/she is present.
B.Planning and Organisation
1. To ensure efficient and effective use of time and to provide RSM with full weekly itinerary as defined by the RSM.
2. The effective operation and organisation of account management calling pattern that secures individual account objectives.
3. To provide RSM on a monthly basis with a detailed report in line with key performance indicators as agreed with RSM and NSM.
4. Work to pre-planned core of appointments each day in full support of their local business plan.
5. Responsibility to maintain accurate records of individuals, positions and buying policy of each account including competitor activity. To pro-actively update individual and company customer database.
6. To maintain a working file of all projects with each account and continually review success (Sales) versus effort and report as requested by RSM.
7. To complete and return all sales and forecasting information within the period requested.

3.To be fully conversant with competitors products, systems, services and policy.
