Our client is a market leader in the manufacture of Aspirating Smoke Detection systems.
They have many subsidiaries, associates and overseas distributors for international distribution in most regions. Due to expansion they now seek a Business Development Manager based in Germany
The main objective is to provide the Push in the “Push and Pull” Sales Strategy: i.e to provide the opportunities, specification and brand awareness, for their distributors to pull from. A secondary objective will be to manage motivate and train the Distributors in Germany/Eastern Europe Region

Duties:
·Target specific end users who have need of these applications ·Introduce specific and unique solutions to them o Use Trials o Reference sites o Seminars o Papers
·Prepare unique presentations ·Take them to distribution sales or Distributors ·Do same with major consultants who work in our areas ·Build up intelligence of major projects to be carried out in Region
·Identify OEM opportunities
oWind Farms oDuct detectors oRack Monitors oTrains oMarine oOil & Gas oDevelop new opportunities
·Liaising with Distributor sales ·Liasing with product Development on OEM opportunities ·Liasing and co-ordinating with future business development managers in other Regions
Area coverage: Germany, Eastern Europe and possibly Russia
Salary : 60K Euros + bonus + Car + office communications

| Candidate profile: |
Location: Based in home office located preferably in Northern Germany
Candidates should ideally be from a Sales/Technical backgound, selling to Consultant Engineers, Influencing Insurers and End users with Fire Detection Systems experience with knowledge of markets in Eastern Europe
Qualifications: Degree educated Langauge skills: German + English, essential (Russian would be advantagous)
Must be based in Germany

Our client is a leading provider of cutting edge CCTV systems, incorporating the latest systems tools integrating TCP/IP technology.
Due to expansion they now seek an experienced CCTV trade sales executive for the south east region.
1.Develop effective relationships with the assigned customer base to identify new business potential and deliver defined revenue targets, and in doing so achieve organic account growth and increased territory market share.
2.Attend “National Account” (installers) customer facilities and end user sites of those customers to promote products and services.
3.To provide appropriate pre-sales support by means of system design, quotations and tender responses.
4.Schedule and conduct office-based product and/or sales training demonstrations for customers as required.
5.Develop a full depth and breadth of knowledge of the full spectrum of the product range.
6.Build market intelligence of the territory as it relates to customer needs, business conditions and trends and competitor activities.
7.Attend appropriate trade shows and conventions, and in doing so identify prospective business opportunities.

| Candidate profile: |
1.A proven track record of sales delivery into the UK CCTV industry achieving or over achieving annual sales targets.
2.Excellent knowledge of the closed circuit television sector, including knowledge of systems integration and competitor offerings and equipment.
3.Excellent video security products knowledge with particular reference to IP products.
4.Experience in field Sales or related technical environment (Desired)
5.Experience in a field sales position selling IP products (Desired).
6.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
7.Able to engage and effectively communicate, both internally and externally, in the written and spoken word

Working within the exterior lighting market the Business Development manager is responsible for driving sales of exterior lighting products direct to the MOD. The successful candidate must project manage large, complex projects from inception, through design to completion.
Your Responsibilities:
1. To identify key selected users, decision makers and influencers within the MOD and work with them and their relevant teams to deliver complete solutions and project manage these large complex projects from design to installation.
2. To increase the company’s profile with Lighting Landscape architects and relevant associations to achieve the specification of branded exterior lighting equipment and thus maximise the sales turnover from this customer base.
3. Proactively examine and analyze the market and the overall business to determine new opportunities for growth, then formulate and implement a plan to maximize the opportunities.
4.To assist customers in defining lighting needs and advise, design, quote and present back solutions
5. To maintain awareness of both Lighting capability and up-to-date lighting technology, ensuring this is imparted to customers at all levels. This could include: Lamps, Control Gear, Columns, Luminaires, LEDs and Lighting Control systems.
6. To investigate and own customers’ problems, referring to After Sales Service Dept and line manager for guidance or approval for corrective action. 7. Comply with sales and forecasting reporting systems

| Candidate profile: |
It is relevant that your experience in bid systems sales and client bank define the role, rather than experience in lighting technology, but interested candidates must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales to the MOD
Proven ability, with track record of closing deals in a relevant sector.
Knowledge and relationships within target sectors.
Excellent project management skills to be able to understand how to successfully deliver a project through to completion and where all relevant parties fit in
Ability to think creatively and commercially and produce quality results in pressure situations
Strategic thinker and ability to analyze the market and see the big picture
High level of communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Solid understating of business development
Excellent time management skills, deadline driven and self motivated
Proven and demonstrable track record in CRM.
Ability to work in the EU without visa.

The candidate will be responsible for the sales and specification of both door entry and access control equipment to a variety of clients from electrical contractors to architects.
The candidate will be working to a target of £400K per annum
The candidate will have to both grow the business within their region and maintain the existing client base for that region.
The role will be 60% generation of new business and 40% account management, the role will incorporate presentations to all levels of clients, client visits and demonstrations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing their own region via cold calling, reacting to sales leads from our external marketing and leads from all of our exhibitions/trade shows.
